Working with independent hardware stores gave me my first insight into day-to day aspects of retail and customer service. For this short story about recycling, the visually striking illustrations aimed to pique the readers' curiosity and draw them in to uncover the answers within the narrative. By utilizing a blend of visuals and charts, the design sought to emphasize the question at hand about the relevancy of recycling without relying on familiar retail or store imagery.
